The Malnad club is located in Balebailu, at the entrance of Thirthalli Town. Malnad club was registered on 20th December 1991. The club was inaugurated at a rental building on 5th January 1992. Later, On 2nd July 2001, the club was established in its own building at Balebailu Thirthahalli.

Malnad Club offers high quality lodging facility to the guests of the members. A member can book in advance room or rooms for their guests. At present the club has 4 A/C rooms.

A rain walk of about 6 km has been organized on Sunday 14-07-2024 on Sunday 14-07-2024 on the route of Mattiga - Hebbalbailu Nature Scenic Area, backwater area of Mani Dam. Women and children can also participate in this rain walk covering a short distance. Requested to register name by 6 pm today. Participants of the rain walk must be present at the club premises at 2 pm. A separate vehicle will be arranged. Personal vehicle travel is prohibited for the purpose of socializing. From 7 pm to 10 pm in the premises of the senior members of our club Mr. Rangappa Hegde, Sankaramane, there will be light music and dinner arrangement (meat-eater and vegetarian) separately.
Date : 30-01-2024 : Malnad club Thirthahalli in association with Rural development dept, Azim premji foundation Banglore, Vihangama nature study centre, Publishers, Writers and donars has conducted Book distribution programme to 38 rural libraries of Thirthahalli taluk. In intension of increasing reading habit & proliferate knowledge across rural people & students, we have distributed more than 6000 books worth 7.00 lakhs. Program was chaired by club president Prof J T Sundaresh.
